Had alot of trouble breaking in my Nova B3 due to the same issue. Even heated up with a heater blanket it got stuck. Had to use a screw driver and push the flywheel to get it loose. I had to rise the idle to keep it from flaming out and it took me roughly 8 tanks to get it fully broken in. Even after that the compression is still mental and it can get stuck if its cold.

How come on my jato 3.3, it idles so low and i have the idle screw in all the way? Do you have a solution for this? is it my low speed needle? thanks for any input you have. Love the channel.

I have one of these! It is the 2.5 and it is a blast although the center of gravity is way to high and the truck want to roll in sharp turns!

What’s up haggard was wondering if you would be interested in taking in my old RC10GT I took it apart a couple of months ago meaning took the cooling head off taking the piston out and the sleeve and then put it all back together and went to start it and it makes a weird clanking noise I’ve since got into the engine a couple of times but not completely and still can’t figure out why it’s making the noise and why it won’t start it would be awesome if I could send it to you and you could maybe fix it for me I’m just worried it would get lost and I’d never get it back

Ouch, hard for me to sell anything Ive had as well. I take care and usually put a lot of time and money into them. They seem more like family than a hobby. I would work the hours my friend, lol

I own 3 nitro trucks for nostalgia sake! I switched to electric years ago because Nitro is fun, but does require a ton of fiddling! Electric is simple plug and play and several of my Arrma trucks are wheely machines that will easily do 70mph. I have cars that I have had close to 100. No starting, and all that is needed is extra batteries. One other real drawback is in electric, if you loose charge, the vehicle goes nowhere. Nitros run away facilitating a footrace LOL!

I use a lipo with a low voltage alarm on the balance port. When the lipo and it’s connector are tucked in the original battery enclosure there is very little chance of accidental disconnection too.

I just ordered some 1.5v rechargeable AA batteries from EBay 2 days ago I will see how they work good videos as normal 👊

I used to run my built Volkswagens on the fat side because a rich engine will run cooler! These motors were also air cooled and at the expense of plugs tended to run cooler. I always ran a little hotter plug to keep the engine from fouling the plugs!

Think of this, a typical hemi used in top fuel burns up to 15 gallons of nitro methane in a quarter mile run! They redline at around 9500 rpm! My Suzuki GS 1100 was around 11,000 rpm redline.

The discharge characteristics of Alkaline and rechargeable Nimih are completely different. The open voltage of an alkaline battery is 1.5 volts but when it is connected to a load (terminal voltage) the voltage almost immediately drops to about 1.25V then the voltage will drop steadily until it is discharged. The open voltage of a rechargeable Nimih battery is 1.2V but when it is connected to a load the voltage stays at about 1.2volts then starts to discharge at a much slower rate staying closer to 1.2v for longer than the alkaline battery. the only problem is when the NImih battery voltage drops to a certain voltage it will then drop to completely discharged very quickly. Nimih are better for R/C than alkaline as they provide a more constant voltage for longer than the alkaline.

I came across rechargeables on eBay 1.6v AA . until I come across didn’t know humpbacks existed but I run 6 V humpbacks. I think I agree with him. They are better. I think I’ve got hand packing all of my cars.

the reason with the 1.5 vs 1.2 has to do with the chemistry of the battery nimh is 1.2v per cell lipo is 3.7 LiFe is 3.3 etc etc the 1.5v aa are alkaline batteries which have the advantage of the increased voltage of 1.5 and its cheaper to make. the downside is its not rechargable. thats why nimh AA's exist also known as HR6 normal AA's are LR6

The small cell can be found in a 7.2 cell pack. Heat shrink them in the original pack. He most likely ment that rechargeable tend to not hold as good of charge then a regular non chargeable battery . So they die faster. Wich will run away more often. Really you should use 5 battery if there rechargeable to get the currect voltage. 👍✌️🫡💪💯😉
